The packaging for Mylène Cosmetics was a winner.
Antilope Cardboard, a division of the Antilope graphical media group, based in Lier, Belgium, was awarded the ECMA Carton Award 2013 in the Beauty & Cosmetics category for Mylène Cosmetics Femme Fatale perfume. Antilope says the fragrance’s packaging designers benefited from the extra opportunities offered by Antilope Cardboard’s new Highcon Euclid digital creasing and cutting machine, which deploys high-speed laser optics systems for the cutting, slitting and milling process.

While Antilope has been designing and manufacturing cosmetic cartons for the Belgian family-run business Mylène Cosmetics for a long time,
Linda Corremans, Antilope Cardboard’s manager, says, ”Mylène wanted the current Femme Fatale packaging to be upgraded.” In this case, the cosmetics firm opted for the micro cutting of a flower.
